Ectropion
Ectropion means that the eyelid turns outwards, which can cause tear flow, irritation, and redness on the folded eyelid. The skin under the eye can also become red and chapped due to the flowing tears.
Ectropion usually appears because of loss of elasticity in the muscles and tissue of the eyelid. It can also be caused by previous damage to the eyelid. During the surgery, we improve the elasticity of the eyelid.
