Entropion means that the eyelid turns inwards, which makes the eyelashes scrape against the eye. This causes irritation, chafing and in worst case – wounds or infections on the cornea. Entropion usually happens because of loss of elasticity in the muscles and tissue of the eyelid.

During the surgery, we improve the elasticity of the eyelid and tighten the muscles that regulates the lower eyelid. Our surgeons have extensive experience of entropion surgery and therefore offers treatment for this issue.
The stitches are removed after about 2 weeks and the scars appear insignificant after healing.
